PJ Party & Fancy Dress
On Wednesday our plans were affected by torrential rain in the morning, which left us unable to face the climb up to the Stations of the Cross, these will have to wait for another year. We did, however manage to get a bit of shopping in, and made a start on buying some souvenirs to bring home. In the evening we travelled the huge distance to the hotel next door in our pyjamas to meet group 177 for a party. This was a lot of fun once it got going, with a lovely atmosphere and games to keep us entertained when the novelty of being out in pyjamas wore off, which took until much much later in the evening for some. Lourdes during HCPT week must be one of the few places in the world where you can walk down the street at night wearing your pyjamas and it is treated as completely ordinary!
On Saturday evening we rounded off the week with a Fancy Dress Party, again with Group 177. A fantastic array of charactors emerged, some of them were in fancy dress!
