Introduction
The purpose of this task is to research and then create a billboard advert for a bank account for teenagers.  The advert must encourage teenagers to save their money to buy something special.

2.1 Find a current account for under 18s on the web.  Read what the account offers.

2.2  Create a new folder in your ICT folder called mymoney . Create a new file in powerpoint.  Give it the filename billboard and save it in your mymoney folder

2.3 Watch billboard.ppt and discuss what makes a good advert.

2.3 Your billboard must fulfil the following criteria:
the bank’s name and logo
the name of the current account
A Strapline (a phrase that encourages teenagers to have an account with this bank)
One or more appropriate images
A colour scheme that is similar to the design of the bank’s website
The text must be clear and quick to read

2.4 Ask another student to look at your billboard and give you some feedback on how effective it is

2.5 Refine your billboard using the feedback you got on how to make it better

Plenary View some of the students’ billboards as a whole class and discuss their strengths and ways to improve them
