If you have a good teacher, whom is enthusiastic, and answers all your questions, you learn better.

A good teacher doesn’t get easily annoyed and frustrated if a pupil doesn’t understand task! Yet if a teacher is constantly making jokes, (that aren’t funny), pupils get slightly annoyed as then we don’t get a completely interesting lesson. And sometimes you even loose interest in the subject.
3. If you could choose, what would you like to learn?
I wouldn’t so much want to learn about something new, but debate and discuss the things which are now so important in every day life, and decisions people have to make everyday.

What helps me learn better is when the teachers explain what I don’t understand and when we act out the work so I can understand how the person or thing was feeling.
What makes some one a good teacher?
What makes a good teacher is when the teacher will help me and anyone else who is stuck. What also makes a good teacher is when the teacher will let you ‘act out’ something you cant quite understand e.g. if you are reading a play, in a book to understand how the person felt.

I would love more drama, less maths, more art, less geography and more i.c.t.

Somebody that can make jokes and have instead of just doing written work but, however, part of being a good teacher is making there pupils do work to let them learn important things!

I would like my timetable to be like this
I.T., Tech, Drama, I.T., Tech. because these are the lessons I enjoy most, not just for the reasons of fun but mostly that, but I learn something. (Well obviously )

When you don’t have to just copy things and listen when you get to do things and have a laugh.

When they let you speak and do things but not too much and tell you off when it gets too much. Then you get a good balance. Someone who has control of the class but isn’t really strict and says you can’t talk.
3. If you could choose, what would you like to learn?
Music but differently not how we do it now, you would be able to just make up anything random you wanted to on the keyboard. Every lesson would be the subjects we have now but you would be able to do things instead of sitting around and copying from a sheet. That way you would learn but have a good time.
What helps me to learn is working with friend and not working in silence ! And working in groups !

I would like to learn how to create computer programs and learn history about my family.
1. To do things in a fun way rather than just copying sheets or answering out of a book. Also to be able to express yourself and ask lots of questions!

3. I would like to learn more about how we can help to do some charity work for cancer research and other important causes. Also I think students should be allowed to choose what subjects they want to take at a younger age for example, I would like to do drama, English, music, art, Spanish and IT. Seeing as I want to act or write. So if you know you don’t want to carry on with a subject I think you should be allowed to stop it.

I would like to do more Food Tech because I cook and you don’t do much in food tech, I would like to learn bigger dishes and actual meals.

The People around me. This allows me to discuss the question if I get puzzled or stuck.
Someone that can explain something in the way you would understand (I find it easier when they use similes and refer to something that you know.)And that is comical and understands children very much.
More drama and P.E.(I’d like a more relaxed atmosphere in class and for more freedom of choice. I’d also like lessons to be more aural even though writing is important.)

I would like to have lots and lots more Drama and PE not just because they are fun, but because they are the only physical lessons we have. Also I would like to have more mediation lesson as they calming and relaxing. It would be really good if every school could have a swimming pool and the we could have swimming lessons for PE.

I learn better when I am not in a group and people are not distracting me, because I like to do things on my own and I get it done quicker.

A good teacher is someone who explains something quickly so I don’t get bored, and is there in case I need to ask questions. I don’t like it when a teacher treats you like a five-year-old just because you are the youngest year in the school.

I would like to learn different sports, like trampolining and tennis, and I would like to have more than one IT lesson a week.

Interesting work to do instead of just given a sheet and have to do the questions is not as interesting as it could be. Being funny helps put people in the mood. Being in groups and using different ways of learning and researching e.g computer programs, computer games, television, films, shows etc.

I think when your friends are around (mine are alice KBK ,Abbie MMA and Rachel KBK ) it helps you to learn better because if you’re stuck you can ask someone you know and trust if you’re scared of the teacher.
I like to be sitting next to my friends or people I get on with and have a teacher I like because a happy atmosphere helps me work better.Also having a variety of lessons helps.

there are quite a few things that the teacher cuold do to be a good one.
obviously,the teacher has to know what they are doing.
some suppy teachers , for example,just give the class a work sheet and sit back for the whole lesson.doing this is pointless and does not teach us in any way.
the teacher should show some discipline,but should not be so angry over some small things,such as a spelling error.

What helps me learn better is inspiration and support from all the people around me (no pressure). Also the opportunity to be able to express and contribute my own and individual ideas, not copying of what’s written on the board because what you create needs a little touch of yourself and that will make your own creation unique.

When they show absolute support to their students but not favouritism because we all need equal treatment from everyone. Also what every teacher needs to show is FUN!

Definitely music and art because I am a musical person but I don’t want to learn music the way we learn it here, we should just sing and compose musical pieces in with the keyboard. I would like to do art because I am very creative with music and art and I am always inspired by everything I see, hear, touch and feel.

I would learn better if the school days started later so I could get more sleep. To make up for lost time schools could take some days from some vacations. In doing so people would be in better moods and more willing to take in whatever the subject might be.
Most good teachers are born that way, its possible fore a bad teacher to improve but some people just can’t teach. I think most of it is personality and the teacher’s social skills. If you don’t like the teacher fore whatever reason you are probably not going to listen even if it’s in a subject you like.
I don’t think it’s a matter of what any one wants to learn but how to improve the existing classes and the learning environment. For example no one wants to go to a school ware you are told that you are being prepared fore the real world, to be adults and then treated like kindergarteners. If you want people to succeed with the freedoms of the real world then cretin freedoms must be given. More rules equal more rebellion.
The thing that help me learn is hands on like working on lawn mowers and dirt bikes and quads. I also like to hunt deer and turkey.
